Come and hear "all sorts of odd knowledge" at A Scintillation of Scions! Our sixth annual symposium promises to be the best yet! See below for our lineup of speakers as well as other useful information.
Friday, June 7, 2013--6:30 pm to 9:30 pm
Included in your registration is an informal reception. Light refreshments will be served and there will be a cash bar. Please indicate on your registration form if you will be attending the reception. It will assist us in determining catering needs. PLEASE be sure we know you are coming to the reception by May 7, 2013.
Saturday, June 8, 2013--10 am to 5 pm
The symposium will begin promptly at 10 am. There will be breaks throughout the day to visit the vendor room and to socialize, with a traditional English afternoon tea mid-day. (Those with specific dietary needs must include them on the registration form in order to assist us in providing you with the best Scintillation experience.)
The vendor room will be open from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, except during the presentations.
There will not be a dinner banquet; attendees are encouraged to make their own dinner plans. Restaurant information will be provided, and the hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from the nearby mall and casino.

Sunday, June 9th, there will be a field trip to the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore. We will meet at the host hotel and carpool to the museum for an 11 am tour.
We have the Group Rate of $10 per person! (Regular pricing is $13.95 for age 60 and up; $15.95 otherwise.) What does the registration fee include?
There will be an informal reception on Friday evening at the hotel, with light refreshments and cash bar. It will be a nice welcome for our out-of-town attendees and a chance for everyone to meet before the next day's event.
While breakfast on Saturday will be on your own, we will have our traditional English afternoon tea mid-day (included in registration). The afternoon tea will include an assortment of finger sandwiches and pastries, as well as tea and accompaniments.
In addition to a fine lineup of speakers, there will be vendors selling Sherlock Holmes-related items as well as books by the authors.
And most of all, your registration gives you the opportunity to spend time with Sherlockians from all over the U.S. There will be plenty of time to socialize and make new friends!
